Since its inception in 2018, the Biomass Fair have been a consistent annual event in helping to showcasing the blossoming bush biomass sector in Namibia. The Biomass fair also strives and aims to update biomass stakeholders and the public at large on the positive sector developments.
As for this year (2023) the fair is scheduled to take place at Gross Barmen Resort as from the 07th to the 09th of September 2023. Gross Barmen Resort is located south-west of Okahandja in the beautiful Otjozondjupa region.
The resort is well known for its modern conferencing venue that perfectly aligns with the requirements of the event. The resort`s picturesque surrounding is also regarded to be an ideal setting for showcasing biomass products and technologies, as well as hosting field demonstrations.
Initially, the event was to take place at Heja lodge but due to some unforeseen circumstances it won`t be occurring there again. Based on the recent press release that was issued by n-big, their priority is to ensure a seamless and successful event for all participants. They further highlighted that Gross Barmen Resort will provide the perfect back drop for industry professionals and stakeholders to connect, exchange ideas and foster growth in the biomass sector.
The two day biomass fair will consist of a research symposium, industry conference, expo, networking event and biomass concert.
